Why not just block/ignore list the people online? That's at least what I do, I don't do much back and forth when it comes to twisting words/lying on me

It's just sometimes people think they "hear" an angry tone through text and think that people in general are being a dick or attack them for having a cynical opinion. Sometimes not even saying anything that bad and it's indifference; simply that they're mad about. I don't block people because people should be able to discuss on the internet, a public source at that

Well tbh you can kind of tell if someone is being a dick or trying to attack someone through text(at least I can from experience with various people online) but you also shouldn't assume they're being negative about it just from a doubtful opinion. And yeah I don't really block too much(besides twitter xD), even on here if i ignore/don't ever interact with someone which is rare, it's mainly due to crossing the line

I talk shit too, but If I notice I did something wrong, I'll retract. A lot of times I'll have a point, and someone else has a point.There should be a goal in your argument that's clear from the get. I think the intial statements are the ones people fret over too much and don't understand the underlying message of it or reason it was said. Otherwise We're squeezing words in &Thats annoying

I'm not a shit talker myself, although I do have a smart mouth so if someone says something rude I do tend to have sharp comebacks but in arguments im usually just dismissive since I'm not with all that arguments. But I can agree if someone has a point but my opinions tend to not be easy to sway so I usually still stand by what I say and respect the others point

If I did something wrong I apologise, but I don’t regret the things I said because I said it for a reason. It’s hard understanding underlying messages over the internet.
