It’s sad, honestly. But it is Shimbori’s fault for continuously fucking up. I’m angry at him for completely ruining this game, he shouldn’t have been so stupid by becoming the director and the producer.

I expected way more from a DOA6, DOA5LR got the same feedback DOA6 is getting now when it comes to DLC and the characters. Aka the little girls getting added every time.

There will not be more than one of these DOAWCs, trust me. Not enough entrants for the money they're dishing out. Not enough people are watching, and definitely not enough people are playing. Game dead chief.

Game was on a slippery slope from since before the game came out, then the bullshit gameplay in the early days sealed the deal. You hate to see it.

Most games don't last "10 weeks" if you want to put things in perspective. And DOA6 isn't done until the DOA6WC is done. 60+ at Combo Breaker isn't too shabby.

Game keeps getting snubbed from events, nobody even knows that the WC is on most times. Every time (not EVERY) it was a main game it got smacked back down to the sidegame category. It's well and truly peak

DOA6’s WC is almost as dead as the game is. Majority of the people wouldn’t even compete if it wasn’t for the money. DOA6 has all the good ingredients to become a good game to play, but it lacks way too much for it to actually be fun.

6 would’ve been more popular if Shimbori didn’t try to cater to these cucks and their whining about the breast physics.

Mechanically DOA6 is fine for the most part. I don't think that's what's really hurting the game. It's just that TN has been atrocious with the promotion and PR of DOA6, along with the overall experience feeling half-assed. Not having lobbies ready at launch was a pretty damaging blow. Having your $93 Season Pass ready at launch when there's so many issues needing fixing is just a PR disaster in the making.

These issues of course include the asinine costume grind system, bugs, lobbies nowhere close to being ready and just an overall feeling of unfinished-ness. Don't even get me started on the piss poor attempt at a story mode. On the other hand, visually DOA6 looks nice. Easily better than any other 3D fighter, and mechanically the game is mostly solid (although a couple things could be tweaked).

Even the video that YouTuber does about the state of the FGC talked about DOA last and didn't know about the World Championship at that.

It doesn't help the anti-sjws and boner culture crowd is still bitching and moaning for no reason. They even lie about shit to make DOA look bad. But we knew fanservice wasn't our problem. I wish we as gamers could stop making everything political and actually see real issues like annoying bugs, no lobbies, dumb costume grinding, odd design choices for the game, and etc. We can't analyze anything these days.

We've peaked as a community. I think what we need to do, is a monthly or weekly stream of select people in a lobby, whoever wants to join really. Maybe FT10s, whatever, like Sunday Night Raw on VFDC use to do. Commentary and all that. Casuals are fine too. Get Matt on that shit. Yours truly etc

What YouTuber are you talking about? I can say possibly the prime reason why the DOA6WC has gotten overlooked. At EVO Japan this past February, all of DOA6's announcements got almost completely overshadowed by the whole "Core Values" bullshit. I.e. A lot of people in the gaming community & FGC thought that ALL Team NINJA presented at EVOJP was that tongue-in-cheek "exhibition".

It's like anything related to fanservice & titties with regards to DOA causes some sort of dumb as shit controversy in Western society, which can be incredibly frustrating at times. Look at the fucking "gaming journalists" hounding Shimbori with regards to DOA6's fanservice "toning down" last June onwards, and of course all the bullshit around DOAX3 around 2015-2016ish. DOA seriously needs to be rebooted.

A reboot deadass is a very solid thing they could do. They can't change the perception of the game without doing so.

TN had an easy job with 6, all they had to do was refine 5, keep the mechanics as they were (don't fix shit that ain't broken), just add a better SS, better graphics, new stages and costumes, new music; everyone would have been happy, but no, these pedo wankers had to fuck it up by catering to scrubs and perverts thinking this will give the game a broader mass appeal. This game deserves to die.
