Lol, I guess some people have never played MK, KOF or other 2D fighters. A tool like 236P is pretty commonplace in 2D fighters. But as soon as it appears in DOA, "HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH THAT? NERF THAT SHIT!". Reminds me of Mai's fans at first in DOA5LR haha.

Yeah people have to remember that it's a unique launcher for Kula. Similar to Jacky where his Heavy Bound 4H+K was unique to Jacky because it was the suitable way to even make Jacky be viable in open space gameplay for his DOA entry. Lots of DOA players need to explore more that having new unique mechanics for these characters enhances the game's visual aspects.

But because these people are vocal, it can be loud and TN has a habit of listening to them. I wouldn't be surprised if it does get nerfed or changed.

Oh, for sure. I like the gameplay variety that Mai & Kula bring. TN did a good job with them. I will be annoyed if 236P gets nerfed because its damage from combos aren't exactly over-the-top. TN should not listen to casual scrubs.

Still a little miffed that 6T got nerfed because the range on the grab seemed to suit the range that Kula will be fighting at. So, other than the throw's range, 6T isn't really threatening anyway (just has wall damage potential). And R1F grabs were epic LOL.

I don’t get how it’s cheap because it gets compensated with her having bad launchers. She doesn’t gain much from it either. And if we compare it to CB’s they were cheaper because you could get a whole ass stage combo that took 70% life.

Diamond breath is just a launcher. It acting in that way isn't the problem. The problem is the range of it. I can stand outside the range of your wake up kick and hit you with diamond breath. It can be used as a meaty and even though its -15, I can treat it as a safe whiff punisher because at range you cant close in fast enough to throw it,
