I've been saying that for years but people thought i was crazy/hating. I couldn't imagine Rig and Mila in the old DOA art style (I wanted Mila to be Rio SO BAD but apparently KT doesn't own her) when they first came out because they had such "everyday people" vibes to them!

(2/2) The art direction is very different now and sometimes I'm not sure if that was for the better. The only exception to me is Marie Rose; it kinda feels like she's been here for a while. Her design feels kinda 2004 i guess.

Hmm... Mila, Rig, Marie Rose, Nyotengu, Raidou, Momiji, Rachel and to a lesser extent NiCO feel DOA-ish. You might be too attracted to the blank-faced doll look more than the Post-DOA5 direction. Diego is pretty bad though...

Diego and Nico are the most DOA characters to ever DOA.

No, it’s not that Force, I like their appearance but they just don’t have that DOA feel to me. Raidou is the only exception because he’s a DOA1 character.

When I look at the older doa characters like Helena or Kokoro or Bass, they all stand out. Mila and rig don’t, that’s what I meant. They don’t really stand out in doa’s roster.
