She's stupidly underrated and I haven't any idea why.
That said, I'm not sure about Top 5, only because there are a few other stupidly strong (and underrated) characters. But Kokoro is definitely up up there.

Okay, I'll be reasonable and say top 10. But I think she can match up evenly against any top 5 character. Neutral is strong, range is godlike, stuns are powerful, safe/safe/safe, mixups are OD, damage is top tier, oki is strong, throws are some of the best.

Yup. Absurdly underrated. Very strong, and even favorable in MUs where people aren't inclined to think so.

Funny yall brought her up as I've been playing hitomi as my main and been struggling to find a new character to learn so I have some more choice with the game and ended up getting koko last night on random and honestly love how unpredictable she can be

interesting... Eliot, Kasumi/phase, and Tina i agree with, ryu and rig im a bit iffy on, mainly cause i haven't fought those characters enough in 6 to have strong opinions on them, Jaeger's the only Rig I fight against and im pretty sure all the ryu mains either dropped him, switched characters, or just went back to 5
