Loyalty to what/who?

What is toxic loyalty? What’s toxic about being loyal to people?

Cause they have 0 interest in anything else easy. I see it all the time with hardcore COD players.

Wtf does this mean?

Toxic loyalty is when you know your friend, family member or s/o is wrong, rude or disrespectful but you continue to defend and support them. Especially when you don’t correct or talk to them about it.

Oh, I thought you were talking about blind loyalty/fanboyism to the series (not that I think that's going on here, lol)

No, thats not what it means nor what I’m referring to. If you were practicing what you preached you’d wouldn’t have commented.

Vendetta is basically like "holding a grudge" against someone else or a group based on something that person or group did to yourself or someone/ppl you know.

Toxic loyalty seems like the right term for glitterati's description. Or basically, probably another word is "Enabling". Who in this community is like that though, i don't know. I don't pay much attention to personal stuff.

Huh? I'd think most people would see "vendetta" as a much harsher term of the two. I'm actually surprised you brought it up, even. I don’t think that’s “toxic loyalty”. Some people keep defending their friends and family because they’re still their friend or family. Not everyone can cut off friends and family, even if they’re wrong.

People need to stop putting the word toxic in front of everything and learn the English language.
