Games are 99$-120$ where I live and 120$ and beyond if you lived in the 90s

70 dollars imo isn't bas at all, games are already close to 60 dollars xD I don't think the price will hurt doa games imo, the game still has its fans that will still buy it

I’m not worried about DOA, I’m worried about how we as the consumers are being conditioned to believe these rising price tags are okay... 60 dollars for a game was already cutting it close for me but 70 is some straight bullshit!

I don't think the $70 is what irks people but the fact that games had so much creative freedom back then, that we were okay shelling out that much because also, gaming was new. Devs are lazy NOW, imagine with a price tag any higher than 70. Sheesh.

I mean, the price of games has risen over time in most regions outside the US. We're kind of an anomaly due to customers somewhat arbitrarily deciding $60 is the max they'll pay for a game on its own, so it was really only a matter of time before the price started to raise here, too.
