I agree, he should be canceled. An idiot is defending a woman who got shot and killed for trespassing FEDERAL property. You get shot just for breaking into someone's home yet she thought breaking into federal property was smart. Then had the nerve to call her magaMarty. I feel no sympathy for her or anyone that supports what happened yesterday.

flawed logic mate, that’s like saying george floyd deserved to die because he bought something with fake money while being high on meth. They both broke the law and they both unnecessarily died because of it. With logic like that it twitch should ban streamers that support the BLM riots because innocent people died because of that too.

One group just wants to be treated fairly and have tried peaceful protesting for years with no progress, the other wants to remain superior, in power, and doesn't want anyone that doesn't look like them in their space.

Intelligence is hard to find here. Gootecks was encouraging violence, Twitch took the right steps. Having an opinion and encouraging violence are not the same thing.

I think cancelling is dumb, since it really holds no value, but Gootecks definitely deserved some backlash from that.

@Crazy_Chin_Guy C'mon, you should know that by now. Were you asleep during 2020 lol? We just had a whole year of people encouraging, defending, and supporting crime, looting, violence, and threats using every excuse imaginable (e.g. look above). You should be used to the hypocrisy and double standards by now.

What Gootecks wrote was no different from what was being spouted throughout 2020 and no one had an issue then. The only difference is the hashtag. People tweeted and actively encouraged violence like it was normal. Even worse things were said in 2020 but it was all acceptable or spun into something acceptable. You're just talking to a wall at this point.

I think there should be justice for that woman as well, because her death was unnecessary. However there’s a difference between someone like George Floyd getting killed and this woman getting killed. She was storming a federal building.

Anyway back to the George Floyd comment (since it’s actually disgusting how there’s even a comparison between the 2.) George Floyd was killed for being suspected of buying cigarettes with a $20 counterfeit bill and was pinned down by the police who choked him blocking his airways.

This woman however, was storming a federal building alongside many others because Trump lost. There’s a clear difference between their reasons of their untimely death. Her behaviour was not okay and she shouldn’t have been storming a federal building.
