1) I enjoy playing it with friends and pleasant company. But most importantly, I enjoy playing it for myself, especially on PC.
2) It's going toward my personal hours of playtime.
3) There are plenty of different games I enjoy, but I have no desire to drop DOA6 anytime soon.
You come to a Dead or Alive site to tell people to not play DOA. That's counterproductive dude. Should I go to a SoulCalibur site and tell people to not play SC? Should I go to a Virtua Fighter site to tell people to not play VF? Should I go to a Melty Blood site to tell people to not play Melty Blood? We get it that you don't like DOA6. Let people play what they want.
@Force_of_Nature Not doa entirely but specifically dead or alive 6. I didn’t have to make a status for people to not play doa6, it is in fact a dead game. But have fun I guess.
But why are you bothered by the fact that people play a dead game? If people want tinplate a certain game, I don’t see what your issue is with that. Maybe you should pay more attention to yourself instead of others.
@Glitterati : Speaking for myself, I'm not bothered. You asked questions in a public status update that I could relate to as someone who (still) plays DOA6, so I gave an honest answer. If however, my difference of opinion bothers you, that's another story.
I hope i'm not included in that "unbothered" comment because I'm 50/50 about what you said. On one hand, the game is mostly dead but that's partially because there's so many people that have the "play a better game" mentality like this...
Honestly the main thing that T7, MK11, and SFV are doing right is having better developer support. The base game for those 3 were dreadful, just like DOA6
