Nowadays when a game have licensed music it's either "let's pander to ppl who remember the 80's" type soundtracks or it a "hey let's toss in a bunch of EDM and mumble rap tracks cause that's what the kids are into, right?" playlist , booooooo

And while I don't care for mumble rap, I'm probably as old as you (if not older), and I still fucks with EDM.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is a gem isn't it? It also released at a time when music hadn't completely gone to Hell in a handbasket.

I wish these OSTs can be used to spice up your vids in youtube. I just dont like the idea that you get slapped with dmca claim by other youtubers to get more views and bots. I thought youtube is about me but unfortunately its for the corporate and the mouse.

The Tony Hawk games got me into a lot of music when I was a kid. Not just one game, but literally the first THPS up until whatever the fuck game they had that wasn't good and I stopped playing. Damn that series went to shit.

Midnight Club had some GOAT tier music. Even like Def Jam got a fire soundtrack as well.
