Even if DOA was about the ninja's, you relate Honoka to a ninja, you put them in side games that interacts her more w/ Ryu, Kasumi, and others and dive into their lore and you have DOAX prioritize the women and showcase them even more, and it's no wonder they were popular, then you make them primary characters in the sequel, especially in a game that mainly prioritizes it's women outside of Ryu and maybe Hayate.

Like again, what does it say about the playerbase of Tekken vs DOA: Tekken doesn't prioritize loli characters. Literally the closest "loli" that may be emphasized is Alisa. DOA you have Marie, Honoka, and NiCO become primary characters and then you add Kula on top of it all and even Shimbori talk about the girl characters, and you see the difference between a game that looks at the women characters vs

a game that's mainly about fighting demons and a messed up family feud while trying to be a king of iron fist. Like Lucky Chloe has no footing or foundation to go off of. It's why even when I watch primary tekken players, they don't care for Lucky Chloe outside tourneys and they still don't care for her. Even if you care less about Honoka competitively, because of DOAX and Warriors All stars, you're still...

gonna see her more in regards to that because thats what Koei wants to push, along w/ Marie, Kasumi, Ayane, Nyo, etc...

The debate was about the how the cutesy "anime" characters only got big in DOA because the DOA playerbase likes them and similar types of characters don't ever get as popular in other games. Nyo has all the elements you claim Marie and Honoka have but she isn't as popular. I really don't know what you mean by "prioritize" when your claims don't line up with the timeline. Answer these then

  • When was Marie released?
  • When was Nyo released?
  • When was Honoka released?
  • When did Marie and Honoka get popular?
  • When did TN start to "prioritize" them?
  • When did DOAX3 release?
  • When did warriors allstar release?
  • When did DOA6 release?

Prioritize as in, they were promoted, they appear in merchandise, they're in covers, they get showcased in other games, become involved in stories, they have lore to explore, etc. That all happened before DOA 6's timeline. Compare it to Chloe. Her announcement, her story, her promotion, etc. I'm not talking about Nyotengu. I'm talking about Lucky Chloe cause that's who you compared them to.

Like Warrior's all star was before DOA 6. In fact it was in the last of DOA 5:LR times....

Tell me with exactly when each thing took place. According to your view.

Btw, the second sentence of my original post, "Something other DOA characters couldn't do".

Before DOA 6, which also puts to perspective again, they were in the game longer compared to Lucky Chloe which also again gives people more opportunities to learn about them as characters, compared to Lucky Chloe. It's not according to a timeline or anything. It's as plain as it gets. You look at Honoka and Marie for 5-7+ years and see them in other games and merch. and yeah you'll know more about them...

than Lucky Chloe where you only get a trailer and hope for the best, unless you're in Asia, and then the game comes out and you're expected to care about Lucky Chloe where outside her character episode, you know nothing about or even care to know about.

Your 3rd sentence is where I'm debating with you because at the end of the day, you're comparing a character in a game that has more to go by versus someone who only has a bland trailer to go by.

lol. just answer the questions my guy.

I answered the question. You never answered any of my questions like the simple one of "How does Lucky Chloe get any momentum in a game that doesn't prioritize her and only cares about the Mishima story and only promotes the Mishima story?"

Like all you have w/ Lucky Chloe is a trailer, one fight in a character episode story to go by, and JeonDDing for her. And the main thing I'm answering is what does this mean about the playerbase and the answer's simple: Tekken doesn't prioritize loli type characters.

All these answers are simple: Before DOA 6 and March 2019 for DOA 6. Now back to my question: How does Lucky Chloe get momentum vs Marie and Honoka?

Like again, you're shifting to Nyo and that's not the argument. You argued this point here, "Marie and Honoka became unbelievably popular in an extremely short amount of time and were put in other games almost instantly...Meanwhile, Sylvie and Lucky Chloe never became as popular in their game. Hmm, what does that say about each playerbase?"
