And I'm saying it right here: Tekken doesn't prioritize loli's unless they're winning tourney's. The only Tekken argument is Alisa.

lol. you're literally avoiding answering the questions to make your point...

answer them and see if your point stands

Marie: 2013, Nyo: 2014, Honoka 2015, Lucky Chloe 2017, DOAX3: 2016, Warrior's all star: 2017, DOA 6: 2019. Like look at all the time you have to invest in Marie and Honoka before DOA 6 vs Lucky Chloe who came in like 2016-17 and Tekken comes out straight after...
human013
human013
And When did Marie get popular? When did Honoka get popular?
T..J. Bernard
T..J. Bernard
Like the minute they became featured in games like Warrior's all star and DOAX series. You can even argue for a fact during the time SonicFox started using Marie competitively...

Now, hopefully lets see if you answer my question: how does Lucky Chloe get momentum w/ no game features, and only one trailer before Tekken 7 and no lore to go by except "She's a dancer"?
human013
human013
lol the moment you answer my questions you'll know what my answer is because it would be too obvious to ignore. Honoka released in 2015 and became one of the most popular character that she ranked high in DOAX3, a 2016 game. Now, what about Marie?
T..J. Bernard
T..J. Bernard
Marie a character that got popular around DOA5:U time and then again catapults around DOAX and Warriors all star.

T..J. Bernard
Where does this tie to Lucky Chloe though? Cause that's my main question and where I'm really having the debate. If anything, I'd say Alisa would be a stronger argument in an overall female FG character argument because at least Alisa was catapulted to the main cast and became popular around T6 and then SFxT and had a movie centered around her. Like LC never had the opportunity to get popular.
human013
human013
lol, why aren't you giving me the year? When did Marie get popular? It ties in perfectly to your question

2015-2016.
human013
human013
So she released in 2013 and was not popular until 2015? You sure about that?
T..J. Bernard
T..J. Bernard
2014-15, then really catapulted when she was branded together w/ Honoka and from there appeared in DOAX3, Senran Kagura, and Warriors All Stars and once you tie in her lore w/ Helena, you have solid footing and foundation for Marie Rose, along w/ SonicFox playing her.

lol

human013
it might be hard to accept but she was popular on day 1. popularity consists of more than just the few hundred of people who play DOA in the FGC
now compare all that to Chloe, including the timeline and you'll see.

T..J. Bernard
Then you hop into Honoka, you give her lore w/ Ayane and Raidou, make her into some "I have a secret" character, brand her w/ Marie Rose as well and then give them appearances in DOAX3, Warriors All Stars, etc and you give them solid footing to go by.

Focus on the when. The timeline. That is the most important part. You are mixing things up and ignoring crucial parts to make your point

Ok so lets dive into Lucky Chloe, her trailer comes out like in 2016, she's already hated by much of the playerbase, you only have arcade mode to go by or offline tourneys. May 2017, Tekken 7 comes out on consoles and she only gets one character episode, which many despise to this day, even Eddy haters. It's 2021 and people still barely play Lucky Chloe or even care about her. She appears in no games...

T..J. Bernard
No movies, no merch, and has no promotion based off her. Only JeonDDing plays her, though he even plays Eddy more than LC at this point, and after that Tekken gets dominated by Geese, Akuma, Fahk, Leroy, etc...
