Phase only has sexy outfits because TN has to whore out the cast to make that money. Kasumi does it for free.

Kasumi could run away or kill more of her own clan members (likely people she used to know) like the DOA3 ending

Phase has the personality of the clone in story mode who was annoying af, literally that exact personality with even her quiet intro pose being pulled from story mode lol

Trust me neither of them are my thing. I would just rather have "I don't want to hurt you, but I will" instead of "I can't avoid this fight."

Actually Phase 4 has stolen that line from Kasumi in previous DOA's. But that line is incorrectly translated from Japanese to English in DOA5. It's supposed to be something like 'I don't want to fight, but...''

I can't avoid blah blah is her story mode clone tho. "I am ready" "I know what I must do" "this is mugen tenshin" and "you will NEVER defeat me" are the true Kasumi. They left in the crappy stuff her clone says so she'd have 2 intros and 2 outros in vanilla. I looked at their eyes and Phase's are one or two shades darker unless it was the lighting.

Eh, to each their own. Kasumi just has nothing that I find interesting.

Kasumi is overall more sexy. But I do think Phase 4's fighting stance better and sexier. Also, her lower pitched voice reeks of sexy! ^~^

I think that's interesting they screwed with her eyelashes and made her eyes darker then deepened her voice. They were trying to make her look younger and more immature then they deepened Kasumi's audio files to the point she sound like she's chewing food idgi

I like it. I think a deeper voice makes you seem older tho. Anyways, it's still hella weird what they did to her eyes.

That's the part I don't get, they changed her eyes and facial expressions so she looks younger (following the way Kasumi Alpha seemed younger) but deepened her voice which makes her sound older.

Also Phase's eng voice is hysterical

There are really few and subtle physical differences between Kasumi and Phase 4: they regards the color of the eyes has already pointed out, the eyelashes more large and raised. However the difference that make more effect is the different kind of face, definitely more rounder on Phase while more "sharpened" on Kasumi: http://i.imgur.com/DRJzTVz.jpg

This last detail is not to understimate because a rounded face is instictively associated from us to baby or pets (that indeed present similar appearences in nature), something that often change the way to see them from people (not everyone, of course), thinking to them as sweet, funny (this more associated to the disproportion between the head and the body) and so on...

I still prefer Phase 4's personality over Kasumi's. I'm really curious to see what TN's gonna do with Phase in future games (if TN doesn't fuck up DOA as a whole with its plethora of swimsuit dlcs).

The consequence in this case is that Kasumi get an adult appearence, compared to Phase that even unconsciously can appear more younger to the audience. This, together with the parallel or contrast with Phase's role (a newborn that is also a killing) can inspire a different vision of her compared to Kasumi.
