That doesn't matter to me... I'll play characters no matter if people consider them good or bad, lol. Helena and Marie don't look fun to me. Like, I don't get excited when I see people use them in tournaments.
She may be complex, but she doesn't get me excited. If I feel anything about her at all, it's salt when I face her, lol. She's just not a character I'm interested in. And I'm having fun playing around with Tina.
No, it's not stupid. Would you call it stupid if someone who didn't play any grapplers decided to pick one up? No. They just want some more types of characters to play with.
Although character gender does not really matter in terms of gameplay, I can understand that it adds some variety. It's actually quite difficulty to explain... maybe it can be defined as a ''need for a sense of balance''?
