A Momiji who impresses the opponent by using her entire moveset in a match, never grabs twice the same move, who uses force techs every now and then, juggles everytime differently, never spams, doesn't lag abuse and someone who mastered the fundamentals of the game... I assume?
But what if we are talking about only doing maximized juggle damage? And what if they are able to win with only a small list of moves since they are using them so well that they don't need to change up anything? And what if the spam works? Would they still not be considered a good Momiji?
It is never necessary to impress your opponent to be considered "good" with a character. As long as you can win consistently with the character in a legitimate setting you're generally considered "good" or "solid". Fundamentals are necessary but there's absolutely nothing wrong with spamming shit that works. Though I'm a 6PKK spamming Momiji so what do I know ?
Well tbh a good momiji to me is basically a 'unique' momiji, someone that doesn't do what others do, someone that stands out in the croud, And considering the crowd is one that mostly uses 6PKK, A move that is not broken or rerarded but mostly a move that is hard to deal with if used consistently.
Being "unique" doesn't make you good. It makes you different. Being solid makes you good. I find that too many online players think being "different" is a good thing.
