lol you would be surprised if you took a trip to Ehubs or SRK aka Capcom fanboy land. As long as the name has 'Street Fighter' and has at least training/versus then that is worth $60 to them.
"Because its Capcom, they're king of the FGC. Gameplay is the only thing that matters, games made by Capcom is worth your $60 and should be played in any state even if there is lacking content & has online issues all games have that it'll get fixed. Only casuals care about Single Player. As we know Capcom fighters are for the hardcore competitive players." says the die hard SF fans
@Number 13 Your indeed right, I read some of the comments part of Eventhubs can be very braindead or justs having little regards on what Capcom has tried to do which could cost huge to the point of no return.
Capcom is naturally banking on the money from those diehard SF fans,so they can practice for tourneys, that capcom is hosting themselves.
while updating there games, earning them even more money!!!
Its like a win-win for capcom.
as lacking in content as this release was, i'll admit it, as long as i have training mode and online/offline versus im good, i dont really do arcade, story, time attack, or survival modes in any fighting game i play, (except for AH3LM, i actually liked their story mode )
Hmmm you call DOA miles ahead? When you can mash out of +300's?? the connection is awful. There have been three versions and they're all literally the exact same plus new maps and like 4 new characters. So if anyone's wasting money it's people who played DOA. And okay their behind on gameplay but what is out is still awesome. and I don't have to worry about people being able to mash out of a sit down
To be honest, you have to look into differences behind gameplay changes. DOA5 and DOA5 Ultimate is a good example of this since it added new moves, new tech, etc.
The only thing noticeable was the power blow and power launcher. All of which could have been a patch. I mean yeah each game is different tech wise but really it's all the same material. Complaining about spending money on a game just sounds stupid if you ever played DOA. DOA is the one wasting your money. I mean you're robbed of decent playing experience because of the terrible servers.
If you're getting mashed out of "+300" offline, then you seriously need to improve your defense. DOA5LR is miles more balanced than MKX. MKX is horrid online also.
We weren't complaining about balance related things?? We're talking about the net. What are you reading?? We're on the topic of DLC, wasting money etc please stay on topic
My point is that "the net" doesn't matter because pretty much almost every FG has awful online. Offline competition is what makes a game. MK's DLC is atrocious even compared to DOA's. The topic is SFV BTW if you want to get facetious.
I'm aware. And the reason net was brought into it is because you talk about wasting money and how DOA is miles ahead of the game, yet the net is trash. Maybe if you read it you would understand what I'm talking about. And the net does matter if 90% of their customers play online. And nope, I had SFV and Tekken and their net was crystal clear. You're so off topic I'll let you take some time to go read
Tell me what's bad about it?? Please let me know. Is that it requires a brain? Other than the online it's incredible. Everyone I know whose played it has no complaints.
