    BS! They got away with murder!

    It's because you did an SS attack. If you just SS'd you would've been fine actually. Run in moves like that near a wall you normally don't SS attack since the trajectory is a bit wonky. It's more having to do with DOA's core mechanics when it comes to SS'in than anything else.
