    The market ms is targeting theoretically should net them more "ca$h" than catering to a niche core market. This target audience won't know or care about the issues raised here. I believe MS It's under the belief that with the Kinect they can succeed where Nintendo failed with the Wii-mote.

    No it doesn't. The Wii U will receive terrible looking ports. That system is just a showcase for Nintendo first party games and I believe Nintendo knows it and doesn't care. If Microsoft can manage to keep it's console's title as platform development lead then Microsoft should be fine.

    If you notice MS completely avoided getting into a hardware spec war with Sony this time around unlike the unveiling of last generation of consoles. MS completely focused on features, services, and content.

    Yes, the complaints about cell led Sony to pick a more common architecture as they have stated back in February. Both systems are using the same AMD tech used in Common PCs. MS just choose cheaper DDR3 ram and an AMD GPU with less shader power again by no accident.
