DOA5 ver 1.03a Bugs,Glitches, and Tweaks.
This is not a bug in the game, but in the user. I tripped on my arcade stick wire and tilted my Xbox, which decided to give my DOA5 copy a horrible scratch, worst that I've ever seen. The disk is completely destroyed, no hope of saving it. So, pro tip of the day, DO NOT place your console...- P1naatt1ke1tt0

OK, I'm just posting a semi-interesting strat here just because the Hitomi section has been so quiet lately. Anyway, I've been wondering about strings ending in the high flying kick (PP6PK, 8PK6PK, etc.). Could this be used as a pressure tool? Sidestep K - 66K is only dependent on the opponent's stance. You have to step to the direction of the opponent's back. Hitomi's stance doesn't matter. Is it the same with this combo or do you have to mind open/closed stance?- P1naatt1ke1tt0

Nice, I like the final blow where you countered Lei's "uncounterable" mid punch and immediately followed with a fast enough move to take full advantage of the frame advantage. That's an invaluable skill agains, say, Gen Fu's hopping mid kick attack.- P1naatt1ke1tt0

I didn't say Gen is OP. I was just answering the question of why Gen is considered so good. You're right in that he's not good at range. At least not offensively, but he can still evade ranged attacks well.- P1naatt1ke1tt0

From personal experience playing against Mugglz (a great European Gen player): If I attack high I'm screwed because 3pp 33p CB etc. If I attack mid I'm screwed because god-like parry and 11 frame mid punch. If I try to counter then ultra-fast launcher-throw. If I try to space then that deeply...- P1naatt1ke1tt0
