When we talk about speed, we usually have the startup frames of a string starting or single attack in mind. Frames = how long the move takes to execute in displayed frames. 60 frames per second, so 10 frames (typical jab speed) is 1/6 second. What comes after in a string isn't as important...

Only Kasumi is extraordinarily fast. Hayate has a fast mid punch but then again his low kick combo enders are slow. Average speed. Hayabusa is slowish with lots of gimmicks. Ayane is somewhat fast but nothing special, she's in the same category with Hitomi, Rig, Sarah, Akira, Eliot, etc.

Yeah I meant just that, IF they buffed her guaranteed damage etc.

If the hand slaps didn't have ground contact anymore that would be nice.

I agree 100%, I hate it that they low hold and instantly usually jab afterwards and suddenly I, the guy with advantage, find myself in stun.

No, in DOA5 the sidestep evades equally well to both directions regardless of the opponent's move. If Hitomi bugs you, try sidestepping her long range running attacks (running P, running K, 66K are all non-tracking).

Wonderful new love in the air for DOA5. I'd like to add an old argument to those above: In high level play guessing is really a skill. In (at my not so high level) many a game a good player has predicted my every move and so have I when the gods of yomi have taken over my mind. It is only random...

GGs to Akumasama. In all honesty, I think you would beat me offline too, you utilize crushes better and your close range spacing game is better. In general, your offence is very hard to deal with. You could improve your defence a bit to get to the next ultra-pro level though :)
