I just don't understand what the point of having the option of going into BKO from a guard crush is when it takes her from +2 to -1. It's not like she is faster from BKO so what's the point?

I would have thought cancelling in BKO would make her recover faster as with BKO 2K and BT 66K... So against i11 mid characters she has no real mix up on block, that's pretty lame. Edit: Actually she will lose out to i12 mid's too because her i11 jab does less damage than an i12 mid which does...

Temporarily banning Alpha is pointless. Unless a character has an infinite they have to be given the opportunity to compete in high level play which is usually at offline tournaments to see if they are actually too good or not. If we ban characters because they might be too good then anybody...

I don't care whether she can FT or not, I'm just trying to understand how it works now. Gonna have to wait to till release I think. There's gonna be a balance patch so if she turns out to be shit there's always hope.

So in order to FT you have to connect the attack after they hit the ground? It can't be done as they are about to hit the deck? Cause currently 66K FT requires no real timing seeing as the opening to land it is massive.

Can you explain to me why at 1:25 Helena does BKO P+K > 4K > 4K > 66K and even though Ein didn't tech it still whiffed and failed to FT?

I doubt 2P will FT seeing as the only moves that seem to FT in 5U are mid's or lows that stun on NH. Who is complaining about her 6P not FT'ing? I haven't seen anyone complaining about that. Some of us are disappointed that she didn't get certain things in exchange for her FT game being nerfed...

P(P) now causes a bound state so you may need to re think that one I'm afraid. BKO 6P4P and BKO 4P will most likely become your new best friends.

Yep although none of her new strings can be used to cancel into BT and the CB as 8PP, 6P and 3PP when free cancelled remove deep stun. If they changed the properties of those moves it would be awesome.

We don't know whether her new SDS guarantees anything yet. Ninja thought it was +44 but turns out he was looking at 6P+K P. BT 7P is now a CB BTW! We now have 3, sadly they are all mid punches but beggars can't be choosers.

We'll see when the game comes out. If she is DOA5 Helena, minus the blender with a few bound attacks added then she might not be that great. Some safety and some decent SDS would go a long way but I don't get the impression that she got them. I'm sure there is some tech to discover with her...

I never said she is bad, not once. I'm saying if her FT is gone gaining bind states which every character is getting and one new SDS will not make her great again. Remember that her FT garbage is what dragged her out of shit tier. I wasn't giving a full run down of her I was listing weaknesses...

Why is nobody talking about system changes? I'm all for character updates but is there any info on changes to the game itself? For example: Launch Height Stun Game Critical Burst Holds Side Stepping Sit Down Stuns

I went over the footage and what you saw is her BT 7P. Currently it is a crappy SDS but maybe they changed it to CB.
