The best move after :6::H+P: is :2::p+k:. It crushes highs, hits sidestepping opponents and is fast enough to not get hit by almost anything. And it has two follow-ups for mixup in case you do get blocked.
Obviously, abusing it will get you held. So you can mix it up with :2::h+k:, the :4::6::K...
Good. But generally when we speak of advantage after the end of a free cancel or string, where you are in a neutral position and can use pretty much any move you want to continue the attack, AFAIK.
With Momiji in the air, you only have the options from Tenku, which are P,K, P+K & P+H. I view it...
Just jumped on the Xbox One bandwagon. Add me, 'nightantilli' is the gamertag.
Mains: Leifang, Kokoro
Characters I play fairly well: Hitomi, Momiji, Honoka
Characters I like to mess around with but can't really play: Pai, Hayate, Ein.
All those +14 moves are not really advantage. If you don't press one of the follow-up moves while being in the air but simply land on the ground thinking you have advantage, your opponent will hit you in the face.
Recently got the Xbox One and got DOA5LR for $19 on amazon. Buying characters separately is a joke.
I agree that it's hard to deal with fast characters online. The more the lag delay, the harder it is to fight against speedy characters online. It doesn't make the faster characters better by...
I didn't draw any conclusion. I did ask you to provide the video since I can't seem to be able to find it. That more than shows that I'm still open to the information, even though I'm very skeptical.
If you say so... There's a difference between throwing a distance move out hoping it hits, and...
I've already watched over 6 videos and have not seen what you're talking about. I only saw 7P once, and in that occasion he got hit in the face. If you could actually point me towards what you mean, that would be great.
Still not convinced.
That's quite an interesting perspective, considering...
7P is quite slow and a high. Doesn't sound exactly safe to be closing the distance that way. Especially with slippery opponents like Ayane, Hayate, Helena, Christie... Her strings aren't that long either. I'd have to test this or see it in action, but right now it doesn't really sound...
I suck at tag so you should probably discard my advise lol, but I personally think Kokoro is a good complement to Leifang. Kokoro has the range and the offense, while Leifang has the defense. They are pretty equal in speed too. Kokoro's problem is her linearity.
I noticed that in general the shadows are the heaviest for the GPU. I can play at 1080p with SSAAx4 and 2048x2048 shadows with at most 80% GPU load. At SSAAx2 with 4096x4096 my GPU struggles. Haven't tested it without SSAA because honestly I'm not interested. AA is a must lol, and FXAA makes...
Same here. But I like the AA that the higher resolutions give. So I decided to drop the shadows and SSAA one step both to maintain a constant 60fps. The game is literally unplayable if it drops below 60. Even at 50-59 fps the game is unplayable. It needs to be a constant 60 or nothing.
I can run the game smoothly at 60 FPS (including explosions etc) at 1080p, with 2x SSAA and 2048x2048 shadows. Higher than that, and my GPU struggles (HD6850). I don't have one of the new consoles, but it's light years ahead of the X360 version. As reports say, the game is quite CPU bound, so a...
From someone on NeoGAF, for the ones worrying about their performance:
Well, caved in and bought my first ever full price digital game :(
The good news, it runs rather well. I'm playing this at 1080P, with shadows on, 1024x1024 shadow resolution and FXAA and it plays fine. No idea how many FPS...
