Most (if not all) characters can still do something to force the other guy to tech. Just keep doing ground moves until the other guy gets angry and finally techs. Lack of force tech does make the game a lot slower, though.
Bushido exaggerates her good points. She no longer has any low mixups. Her only mixups are her string throws. Her stun game isn't half as strong as 5, 'cause her sitdown stuns only guarantee a mid punch. Her only deep stuns are high.
EDIT: I did spend a few days learning Eliot and he's got a...
I play Kokoro. She's worse than Eliot by this point. It's a joke 'cause they nerf Kokoro every single patch.
It's not some universal rule. It's just how 3D fighters are played. It's like complaining that FPS games don't let you throw.
You block high in 3D games and shift to crouch block low moves. You block low in 2D games and shift to stand block high moves. In general, 3D games don't have fast, threatening lows. If you have a low faster than 20f that guarantees another attack, you're a mixup character.
2D games have...
For the record, I acknowledge that Rachel is hella strong, but I still don't want her nerfed. I want her to stay that strong so Team Ninja know just how much they need to buff the other characters for the game to be balanced.
Some characters have good crushes (like 1P) that you can use to immediately begin your offensive. That's what I really meant by 2P. Like if I know someone's gonna PP, I 33P+K as Kokoro. Stuff like flying kicks, I just sidestep.
Play a few hours today with just Kokoro in locals. Most of my wins were from the other guy messing up. My damage came from mostly throw punishs, holds, tick throws, and hilarious 1P+K. It's a sad day to be Kokoro. 236P+K is really nice, though.
