Play Tekken 8. It's DOA-Tekken.

I'm still relying on the cracked beta setup from earlier this year. Only really trying Nina or Paul.

Yeah, T8's Arcade Quest is very nifty. It definitely looks like the recommended way to ease people into FG's. Also not all FG players are mean-spirited; come to Canada we're chill here! :cool:

Trying it out on Xbox X|S. Looks the same as the PS5 version but with slightly less latency. PC version feels the same as the XseX version. Strong visuals on all platforms, whereas Tekken 7 looked rough on consoles.

I'd say that it's worth it at the price of FREE. Give it a shot it's a fun game in a goofy way haha.

Sony basically does what they want at this point in the generation.

Oh, that is the gaming laptop you have? I would recommend taking it to a PC repair shop and get their opinion on how to upgrade. I usually just sell my old laptop after an upgrade to recoup costs.

Nice. Yeah, looking for an M.2 and an external SSD would be a good way to go. I'm going to need more space for my PS5 next year haha. File sizes can get pretty big on that system.

DOA5LR's graphics are generally not very resource intensive due to a lack of advanced modern graphic techniques, though the game still looks great in 1080p or up to 4K on PC (better than Tekken 7 honestly). DOA5LR & SCVI take up an efficient amount of space on HDD's, even with piles of DLC.

DOA6's graphics are really high quality along with having a fully cinematic story mode (broken into individuals sections). Tekken 7 is an incredibly poorly optimised game with a lot of "arcade" endings. SCVI doesn't have many videos and its story modes are fairly low quality. Graphics are still...

For sure @deathofaninja. The last time for me was Tekken 4 (Tekken 5, and TTT2 looked alright). Still remember how bad T6 & T7 looked compared to other 3D fighters.

The Game Awards is E3 winter now, though for some reason I find the shows insufferable to get through.

I'm actually more interested in Tekken 8 now, and may consider making it my main game next year. Shimbori deserved better from KT. I'm becoming more convinced that DOA's problems are because of KT more than anything.

Good timing just before Christmas! Can get a feel for the latency difference between PS5, XseX, and Steam to help decide on which to get.
