All of his teleport attacks whiff if you freestep, his back teleport is really slow to recover, and if you see him rush you with torpedo or something just block.

You wanna know how? Just free step, or duck and low throw him.

I like the health at 270, holds dont do an insane amount of damage yet throws still really hurt. I feel at 240 that random holds can more easily determine the outcome of a match.

Another thing is that in NG he throws people so hard their limbs explode on contact with walls, imagine that in doa lol.

I like Shiden more than Hayate myself. I personally wouldn't mind his return if they changed him up a bit.
