The weakest argument is rollback because it is just the hot new word to throw at everything now. T7 released 2017, SC6 released 2018, DOA6 released 2019, GBVS released 2020 before the pandemic. All after SG and rollback. So why is GBVS taking so much flak on this... hmmm...

@ChaolanLegacy SF had the reputation of re-releasing games before SF5 so that was already bad, then SFV happened, and now those SF6 rumors. I really want to get into SF but they are just making it hard to trust them. The plan for multiple releases is already a reason for me to skip the game.
