After attending ROF Summer past weekend, I can definitely say I have improved again, both mentally as mechanically. Tournaments are mostly meant to have fun, but they also help you dealing with high pressure situations.

The hop is annoying, but it's fine in my opinion. It's very easy to spot a Marie player abusing it. You have the option to bait out the hop and she'll be at disadvantage. Some characters have naturally tracking strings which catch her during the hop as well.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It might be an issue at R1F, but other than that just keep in mind that you have to be closer than R1F to hit Eliot. My suspicion is that it has something to do with Eliot's natural movement while standing still. Some characters move more in default position...
