    Why not buff the characters with weaknesses fundamentally so they can also have a say-so in regards to the neutral game & dictate their gameplan better and not live & die off being faster or Crushes or YOLO stuff (CH, lows, launch, etc).

    And a character that's super good fundamentally, either they buff and add to the one, potential weakness that makes them near unbeatable when you look at it on paper, or they nerf them but the problem is they still are really solid fundamentally & can still dictate the flow of a match easily.

    And one more thing: Why do I feel like both 3d fighting games, in regards to buffs/nerfs, do I see this issue where if a character is obviously lacking fundamentally, instead of buffing the fundamentals, they buff mix-up, damage, or situational set-ups which does nothing for the character.

    I think Speedkick's points stretch between both games. It's a waste of time to grind certain characters when other's can dictate the flow of the game so much better and both revolve around endless offense.

    And the other 3d game, the majority of the gameplay revolves around counter-hits & launchers with no risk-reward between and rather than buffing fundamentals, they buff more options for the wall or stupid situational moves, while characters can dictate the flow of a game in 2-3 moves.

    Maybe it's me but it's kinda frustrating to play one 3d fighter where the majority of your defense revolves around meter, where you can't stagger, and if you have no meter, you're playing an endless guessing game the minute you're on stun until you die.

    Leifang: Solid fundamentally for me. Similar to Tina & Bass, I feel that I need extensive knowledge to really get her hold game on point & by then, I'll end up dying too many times. But she has tools offensively. I also gotta look and see what options I have as well.

    Tina: Decent fundamentals for me. It's good being able to punish more often. Her being slow kinda hurts though. And I feel playing her requires deep knowledge of DOA in order for me to execute well, especially w/ her CH game. I'll end up dying hella times before I finally figure stuff out.

    Mila: Also good fundamentally. Much better for me w/ neutral & playing the stun game. I feel however, I'm not mixing up w/ her well and recently, realized I'm doing hella unsafe stuff so I've been dying on that as well. But very solid character & much fun.

    Hitomi: I feel that she's good fundamentally so far. Good safe moves, especially w/ keep out. My biggest problem so far is that I don't feel she has good deep stun tools that make an opponent have to make a guess. Each bit of offense I get, I end up losing momentum and I die because of it.
