It's one thing if the game's not for you and you give 100% effort and such. I gave 100% effort to SF. It's not for me. But where I can defend SF compared to Tekken is at least there was a tutorial and such to even help me learn the game. I don't think Tekken only benefits "Legacy Players". If...

That's like playing DOA at B rank or whatever and only knowing Combo Challenge 16 or something. That's ridiculous. Plus some of the frames on the app are outdated. @KasumiLover69 So that's another issue so even some of the content out there's flawed.

However, I shouldn't have to go to youtube to learn how to punish or SS. I should already know that by now. Again, it's one thing when it's Kyu's and Dan's not understanding the game. But once you're past that, there's no excuse to suffer from the fundamental aspects of tekken. How can there be...

I'ma try to add my extra pointers on here: @Camel with 2 thumbs I agree. Tekken has a good community that will attempt to help. I feel that the only benefit to the lack of tutorial is the amount of youtube content for players looking for the basic aspects of tekken.

And it's not only us who talk about it. The Pro talk as well. Aris complains heavy about it. Speedkicks mentioned it. So it's not like me or King Anubis or Lulu the only dudes talking about lack of tutorial. And I'm morely upset about how lackluster players are because of it. It's a year and we...

When it comes to DOA or TT2 if people don't utilize the tutorial in the game hop online and get waxed then that's on them. That's a completely different scenario. Literally the way people play T7 I think is almost worse than either DOA or TT2 ironically.

And then they b**** & moan when they play someone who knows how to play the game, especially if it's someone who plays Ling, Hwo, etc, they lose and ironically they themselves say "oh they're cheap", "you just spam", or my favorite "You only did one thing". Why is that the case? Cause there's no...

When you're blue/green at that point you should know more about the game. Which is why ironically there's rank "Expert" & "Grand Master". But these "Experts". "Grand Masters" & Greens only know Sample Combo 3 and try their hardest to hit Sample Combo 3 even if the launcher gets them launched.

@Mama The reason I'm complaining about a lack of tutorial isn't because of the # of blue/green ranks. It's because of how lackluster the skill is in regards to them. It's one thing if you're a dan or kyu and your learning the game. It's another when you're blue/green.

The individual wins, it's the best game ever, I'll recommend the game for all my friends (though there's no real improvement). Individual loses, the game's garbage. I'm returning it right away.

Heck, it's the main reason why I feel green's/fake blue's are the worst ranks to play in. I feel a good portion of people come on, learn only either the sample combos or the 10 hit STRINGS, hop online and hope it works and then there's two scenarios:

As much as I love Tekken and grinding and stuff, the biggest thing that holds Tekken from truly elevating as a game is the lack of tutorial.

It's all good. I just find it funny at this point. Winning FT5's to me is similar to getting high rank (Not to trash rank overall). It's not a bad thing but I feel if it's for the wrong reason, there's no point to doing it. Doing either to say they're better than ______ is one of those...

A's either are a bit more complex to a point where they can lose badly because of it (Phase 4, Ayane, Sarah, etc) or too simple and the opposition can have a chance to react (Rachel, etc). Unlike Tekken where simplicity can work wonders, DOA I don't think that would work all the way well.

Akira and Pai to me are the only exceptions of high execution but really good because the tools Akira has are really rewarding (We seen it with JC Akira and DBomb). Pai cause her stuff although complex at times can also be simple enough where you still keep the opposition guessing.

I think this is where theres a bit of confusion. I feel when deciphering between A & S, even SS a bit, There to me should be a balance of complexity and simplicity where you do have tools that can keep opponents guessing but there isn't so much you have to think about hopefully not messing up.

Compare that to Pai where some of her advantages even can help her in some match-ups that could actually be bad for others (Gen Fu, Christie, etc) and I feel Pai's the higher tier character. The only thing is her execution's high.

Sometimes a pure rushdown style to me can be detrimental, especially if someone gets hit with a counter hit. Sarah doesn't want to get CH for example vs Gen Fu or something because she had to be in his face and try to open him up.
