    Xbox-One Revealed

Just to add fuel to the fire, Mike_Z from Lab Zero has mentioned something about wired controllers still working on the PS4 (though he isn't sure about arcade sticks). Whichever is easier to program for.

In other news, only controllers and peripherals designed for the Xbone will work on the Xbone. http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/22/microsoft-only-xbox-one-controllers-accessories-will-work-wit/

    Xbox-One Revealed

In terms of RAM available for games, PS4 has 7GB and XBOne has 5GB. MS was probably thinking that even with that, they'd be able to trump the PS4, but they didn't count on Sony having a moving target in terms of memory.

Guilty Gear Xrd (UPDATE: Arcade Version Opening!)

My favorite part about the trailer is how even the "anime cutscenes" are done in cel shaded 3D. That bit at the end with Millia is almost at Paperman levels of animation quality. Various sources all over the internet.

Except modern consoles are just PCs inside. XBone's specs are very similar to the PS4 with the exception of the PS4 using GDDR5 and the XBone using DDR3 (and the possibility that the XBone will only allow 5GB for games).

Technically, most majors actually do run XBox360 for most games. The exceptions are EVO, SEA Major and a few others, but it's mostly 360 for now.

Doesn't matter when the FGC is likely holding on to current consoles for at least one more EVO season. Maybe even more unless Capcom creates PS4/XBOne versions of SSFIV and Mahvell.

    Xbox-One Revealed

Locking games to consoles and near always online (once every 24 hours) means that this won't be the console of choice for tournaments.

    The Fight Stick Thread

The Razer Atrox is finally coming out for regular joe's who didn't make the cut for the beta program. http://shoryuken.com/2013/05/16/razers-atrox-arcade-stick-releasing-in-june-pre-orders-open-may-21/ Kind of pricy, but based on my own experience with the beta unit, the quality is up there...

Injustice - Catwoman That said, if I ever start taking this more seriously (or a local scene springs up here in the PI), then I'm tier whoring with Bats or Aquaman.

    Tips on going pro

Funny, I never mentioned anything along the lines of "offline is the only place to get good." In fact, skill is only a part of what it takes to go pro. The only way there can be pros in a game is if there is an actual competitive scene that's big enough support these players going professional...
