lol But who ever said that? It doesn't take a full diet of video games to play them competitive. I think most of us hold jobs, or go to school while playing.
You asked a question, we answered; no one's offended. Some might be after that comment.... But insulting us by assuming that video games are our lives, and implying it's bad to fill your ego up isn't cool...
FYI, I've never been to a tournament.
But you're in the DOA5 section... Even so, your OP used the E3 tournament as an example
I can't look up your definition of cheap.... The word cheap itself implies cheating or playing unfair, I don't need to look it up. It only exists in your mind because you don't know how to deal with...
I'm gonna say that all professional players do think the same, or they wouldn't learn how to play the game the way they do. It doesn't matter who we're talking about. If someone takes the time to get that good at a game, they must enjoy it. If they don't they should be in a psych ward under...
I disagree. I enjoy the challenge; for me that's fun, and most other players will say the same.
There's another thread discussing guessing in FG's. Personally I enjoy the guessing aspect of fighting games (to an extent); making reads to win. If there wasn't any need to guess/read I'd get...
So your saying that if they block you get nothing? Then wouldn't you want to throw or throw in a low? What would they be able to do if you went for a throw? (I don't play Tekken)
That still sounds like guessing. Nothing difficult, but guessing nonetheless.
"Most online players"
You're assuming that these players aren't playing anyone good, and they're just in open lobbies playing random players. What if someone who only plays online is consistently beating someone who does? (without anything corny)
See, I agree when it concerns players like Avi.... The others are good, but they'd have to change the way they play. Unless you're just giving examples of players that would be better than Raansu.
Even I'm close to the same level as Avi, and no one really knows who I am.
But comparing Teching in IV would be accurate to someone throwing an attack to stop a throw in DOA.
That was my origional point, before everyones need to be literal just to argue joined....
Would you say SSF4 is more or less the same situation?
But my ability to ignore you definitely makes me less frustrated.
Command throws going through everything was an exaggeration....
The general point was stopping someone punch throwing you in DOA is cake in comparison
Assuming that's true, it still doesn't justify his complaint about no one getting any love.
Hitomi is absolutely better.
Bayman is better because of his damage and stuns, right? Other grapplers would have similar damage and stuns.
