Throwing an opponent that is in critical stun

But someone P,P,Throwing you? DOA isn't the only fighting game you can do that in. Throws in SF have the same properties as Attacks, and the same thing happens. There's guessing in every fighting game, any competitive game for that matter. Halo, CoD, any RTS. I'm not trying to be...

That's not really Offbeat, it's someone else.

But it needs it because there's no other real form of punishment.

    DOA5 E3 Version Q&A

He doesn't have those sit-down stuns like Bayman... Not yet anyway. Someone HAS to be the best character, and it's not going to be Hayabusa, so there's nothing really to complain about.

Don't get CH by it. You're also judging from 3 days of play. That was probably the first time she even dealt with it. It didn't work on Master.

    DOA5 E3 Version Q&A

He's still gonna be like High Mid. Bayman's arguably better, so you can assume the other grapplers are going to be up there; Hitomi is better, so you can assume that Jann Lee will be up there, too. I'm predicting Jann Lee as the #1

I see what you're saying, I thought you wanted the tag button to be removed for PB's. You're not going to just be able to get those stuns if you're playing someone good; you won't be able to repeat, you're going to have to mix it up. Guessing between launchers in DOA4 isn't much different...

Tagging in cancels out the recovery of the move you used before tagging out, it would offer options that may not have been possible with one character alone. Guard breaks for example don't always have guaranteed follow ups, tagging out would offer some. Or if you stun reset on a wall, and tag.

That wouldn't work for extending things on the ground though.

Throwing an opponent that is in critical stun

The ability to delay something that long isn't possible, the throw comes out after the attack recovers. Also, if someone's delaying strings long enough, a jab will usually interrupt, or if it's a high follow up, a crush.

Throwing an opponent that is in critical stun

You probably shouldn't be playing fighting games then. Personally it's usually possible just to watch for the break in the string and stick out an attack.

Dead or Alive System Changes after Day 1 of E3

Games have to evolve, we don't want to keep playing the same game over and over. Holds are still in stun, you can hold before you get put in a stun that's going to take half your life. People will go for it, and the other person will know they're going for it. It's not a perfect end all...

DOA4's top 25 (When it mattered)

I don't think that basketball analogy was accurate. Obviously offline is where the proof is, but there's a line between someone who's only ever played online versus someone who's played offline but never been to a tournament. Just about everyone playing online right now would have to completely...

Dead or Alive System Changes after Day 1 of E3

You can still hold before the stun, and the characters only have one. Using it over and over wouldn't be smart. Also the threshold has to be pushed to get one.

    Buffering owo

You can only buffer directional inputs. It's really only useful for things with more than one direction.

I find myself infatuated with Kat's voice, but I like my commentary the way I like my music; with good breakdowns. She isn't the most knowledgeable. There's obviously tension, but I'd really like to see Rikuto jump in more, if it's possible to do without killing her.
