Whether it can or can't be used doesn't mean its usefull... you can use it out of Spite if you want.
For something to be usefull it needs to be Practical... not just possible but actually practical to use. A distinction you Fan Boys clearly can't grasp.
This is why you don't see whats wrong...
And yes you're a fan boy... You're sitting there making excuses for a game that prides itself and not letting you pause.
You are Fan Boy, through and through. If you can give atleast fair critism then there might be some hope... but I'm willing to bet that you can't.
You probably think Bed Of...
The parry mechanic is working as it was intended to work... it maybe working properly but that doesn't make it any less useless.
Its just like the Kick... that also another mechanic that works properly... also useless.
The Stun Mechanic in Street Fighter V works like a charm... and its still...
Yeah... Thats 100s out of thousands out of people who don't. That proves that its useless.
It was pretty useless in the first game too but atleast in the first game it was consistent.
LoL... its even useless if you successfully parry an enemy because you vould probably do more Damage with...
Dark Souls 3 on the other hand took that... increased the amount of enemies, the strength of those enemies and then they nerf poise...
They took a system that was fairly fucked up to begin with and made it worse.
What you and every other Souls Fanboy don't see is that the games mechanics don't always measure Up to the game's Challenges
Your combat mechanics both offensive and defensive are not suitable for fighting more than one enemy at a time and yet the game will force you into Multi Enemy...
Yes... The difference is that is Useless... if they were the same or better I wouldn't be here Bitching About.
And I go into every game with the same mindset... Find Out How Everything Works and then use it as best as I can.
They turned poise into something useless.
They turned Parrying into Something Useless.
The Weapon Arts are Pretty useless too.
If you can parry everything100% of the time... then you're the only one.
You're right my timing is wrong but thats not my fault... The Parry Frames simply take too long to go Active... essentially this means you have to parry most attacks on prediction... trying to parry anything on Reaction just results on this Buggy Successful + Partial Parry Hybrid effect.
From...
@HHH816
No... they never worked properly in the First Place.
@Crazy_Chin_Guy
LoL... if you want to prove me wrong... Go Ahead... they literally do no work. You get Partial Parries and Successful Parries at the same time more often than you get either on their own.
Well yeah... there are Character Archetypes that appear in many Fighting Games... so that helps simplify the Learning of Matchups a teeny tiny bit.
But yeah its Super Difficult learning so many Games.
Thats why they called Sonic Fox a Prodigy.
Its also as inconvenient and as much of a Pain in the ass to own as The PC.
I actually don't know what its like to own a Nintendo but they still seem to be the only ones who want to preserve the Convenience of Console Gaming...
LoL... I'm not saying they're doing this intentionally... perhaps...
