They weren't really pressure tools. After 5U he's only had one legitimate pressure tool and it's incredibly fucking stupid. So he still has that, I guess. A character based on one strike and expert holds: Ryu Hayabusa. This game is fucking dumb. I can't help but find this hilarious.

But remember guys, Ryu was the second-best character in the game right after Akira. He needed the nerf bat. For balance! Just ask Shimbori.

He sounds like Hayabusa except much better. Comparable poke speed, better safety/advantage/pressure, better throws and better OHs. Then again, Hayabusa is a worthless sack of shit now so I guess that doesn't necessarily mean a lot. Still, something.
