See, that post is actually ironic.

    Raidou gameplay discussion

I don't make any decisions on whether or not I will play a character until I actually play them.

That's not irony. That's just you being a hipster. I applaud your use of spoiler tags.

Because she's boredom in a can.

    Thanks. Updated.

    Design new characters for DOA6

I was imagining something like Cassandra's 214 from SC.

Characters Marie Rose Combo and Strategy thread

Not really. It was a pretty stupid design choice, in my opinion. I could see his 4T being an i6, but his 6T definitely should be i7 and his 66T should be an i16 OH.

Presumably through the in-game move details in free training mode.

Yeah, that's why the "grappler" distinction is so wonky and subjective in this game. Most people you talk to don't consider Ryu a grappler but will consider Bayman one. But, low and behold, Ryu's got the i6 punish throws and Bayman doesn't (a design choice I don't think anyone fully...

Ryu, Tina, Lisa and Bass can punish -7. Everyone else cannot. So when he says "semi-safe," that usually refers to moves that are only punishable by "grapplers." -6 or less is considered purely "safe" as opposed to "semi-safe."

Hajin's post got the point across fine. I actually found yours less coherent, as the tone of yours was focused on a point entirely irrelevant to the argument being detailed prior, which made me work to find the relevance of it beyond social posturing.

We're talking about Ryu's Shoho Izuna, not the Otoshi, Senko, Rekko or Yoko. The Shoho is also executed from a strike (the same strike input, in fact) and can no longer be used from holds and throws unless there is a ceiling present.

You seem to have accidentally written something that makes no sense whatsoever. Consider revision. I use the exact same execution rhythm for hers that I use for Ryu's. They honestly don't feel any different to me. I'm just hoping that they don't change Hayabusa's as well. An 82 input is not...

Don't suppose you ran into Honoka/Raidou's poke speeds at any point, did you?

They could also buff it up to 80 damage at i12, similar to Ryu's 33T.

She can. 66KP+K teleported her on block with displayed frame advantage. Bayman could jab out of it though, so some wonky things were happening.

Could be relative to distance. For example, if it hits on the final active frame you get +2, whereas if it connects on the first active frame you get +3 or +4. That's what I was thinking, but one cannot combat the victim complex with logic.

More effort than Leon's air throw, which is what Momiji's Izuna has become. And actually balancing the izuna holds in certain complicated set-ups does require what I consider effort, yes.
