I believe this was my first online match using Nyotengu, but maybe it was a bit later. Either way don't expect a lot. Also, here's a match of me fighting Nyotengu as Hayabusa Check that shit out at 1:32. So tight. Also, 0:19 is synced with the music perfectly by pure coincidence.

It's a 60 damage, unholdable, tracking ranged attack that's a force-teching true mid. It's not "sad" that it can be "hold-dodged" at all. It would be nothing short of stupid if it couldn't.

Well, the noobs will love the gimmicks. They're here and they are hella-gimmicky. If they can tolerate her poke speeds, I have a feeling she won't be dropped on the scale that Marie and Phase were.

New characters means I have to learn more match-ups. New stages means more opportunities for me to turn my opponent into Ryu's sissy bitch. So yeah, I prefer the latter, honestly. The characters I really wanted back are already back (Leon and pseudo Tengu).

Jann Lee and Ein Lift stuns delay holds slightly. I believe gut stuns do as well. Can't hold at all during feint stuns, sit-down stuns or limbo stuns.

We saw an overhaul of the ground system from Vanilla to Ultimate, both of which were also "Dead or Alive 5." We also saw the introduction of bounds, Power Launchers and some other nifty system features. What makes you say the same effort won't be put into this release?

Sounds like they're implying no new characters, which I'm perfectly fine with. Wish they'd tell us if they're reworking any of the game mechanics (like revamping the ground ground, such as they did between Vanilla and Ultimate) or making serious tweaks to existing characters. I'm a lot more...

The Japanese voices don't sound over-inflated at all. In fact, I find them too muted and flat. Back in the old DOA games everyone sounded so vibrant and full of energy. Now they sound old and apathetic. Damn shame. But still a million times better than the English ones.
