Has there actually been confirmation we'll see new characters? I'm not entirely convinced we'll be seeing new characters with this version. TN didn't bother with anything like "balance" when porting Sarah. Why start now?

In theory, balance changes could be a really good thing (rework the ground game, anyone?). But in reality, yeah, I'm more worried than optimistic about that. I'm expecting all of my characters to get murdered with the nerf bat again and for Gen Fu and Christie to get buffed.
