hope it plays well, the previews give me PS2 vibes when games weren't the most polished but weren't afraid to experiment and try something different, however with that approach games like this either end up being hella niche and fun or hella niche and terrible, guess we'll find out in a few days

Never finished the first game ; thought it was boring af, and didn't bother with the 2nd, so hearing that this is a faithful adaptation makes me a wee bit hesitant to check it out despite all the praise :/ still will probably watch it at some point though

with AI that's hard to predict and control it almost feel like a crapshot fighting these guys, but I guess that's the point, oh well, if you wanna skip them you can always play vanilla Ninja Gaiden and just not deal lol

3 hours in and im still bored and annoyed one thing i've found that helps is switching the dub to Japanese, that way you are spared of the atrocious English voice acting and it feels like you're playing an Isekai, which makes things a little bit better
