    V 1.03 IT'S OVER SON!

BAYMAN 1KK, 2KK: changed disadvantage on normal hit to -5F. 6PP2K: changed disadvantage on normal hit to -3F. Back-turned T: changed hit reaction to allow throws. P+K: changed hit reactions up to Counter hit into sit-down stuns. (Game Over!) Front Wheel - throw (standing opponent): changed...

    Gameplay Changes compared to DoA4

Essentially there are more guaranteed damage situations in this game than there are in DOA 4 (in which there were approximately zero). Not nearly enough, but more.

Does the PS3 version run at a higher resolution?

Right. Also notice the white reflective "shine" off of Kasumi's leggings is much thinner on the PS3 screenshot. Direct proof of the lighting change.

    DOA5+ for PS Vita

Did you seriously just try to make the argument that Itagaki actually knew what he was doing at any point during development? I thought you were a little more in-the-loop than that. And his rivalry between DOA and Tekken was 100% fabricated for publicity. He admitted it openly after he left...

Does the PS3 version run at a higher resolution?

The game isn't running at a higher resolution. It does use different lighting however. The xbox version is much brighter, so a lot of the small details can't be seen as easily ironically enough. The PS3 version has darker darks, so skin, clothing, and environmental details which would...

    Fuzzy Guard?

Again, wrong. That's not even what the description on the page says. In fact it wouldn't even do anything the way you describe it because you have to be in full crouch before the crouch state even becomes active. You have to do a 1 frame crouch dash, otherwise you are waiting an additional 5...

    Fuzzy Guard?

That's.... incorrect. Completely. Fuzzy guarding is doing a 1 frame couch dash into standing guard after you have used a move that leaves you are moderate disadvantage, say -3 or -4. This allows you to avoid most throws because while you are rising you are technically in a crouching state...

    Solo vs Team

Griefing is a different form of entertainment all together.

    Solo vs Team

Team games are for pussies who can't handle an actual challenge, but they help people be all social and that's what most weak willed humans want out of life. /opinions

    The Secret World

I played a trial a while ago. Yea the game is definitely not easy at all. SOME parts are a little mmo-ish, but for the most part its really unique as hell. The investigative aspects are leaps and bounds over the typical "fetch me 20 of that there flower growing around that purty mountain".

    DOA5+ for PS Vita

Both Japan and US tournament numbers beg to differ. Strongly. Bayman and Leon had no such juggle potential. They didn't even have wall potential, and they were beastly in that game. Life was enjoyed. A lot of us do. As does the most of the fighting game world. Only a few of us bother to...

    Low Guarding - Reaction Timing

Considering how much artificial delay is present in the game offline (averaging 7 frames before we even go into monitors/converters) I am honestly curious about how much is reasonably reactable.

    Thread locking

Eh? It's not Raansu's decision at all. He ain't a mod... but he IS a condescending ass, you got that part right. He won't really deny it either. Basically, threads get locked down for a lot of reasons... most of which should be pretty obvious if you've been around the internet for a while...

"Ready to face your fate?" The Bayman Video Thread

Bayman does have combos. These are not them. And I'm not going to bitch him out, but I'm not going to recommend anyone learn from this either. It just puts people on the wrong track.

"Ready to face your fate?" The Bayman Video Thread

I stopped the video after the first two "combos". Who uses a setup that is entirely dependent on your opponents refusal to tech multiple times in a row? No. This is not something to learn from.

Three strikes and you're out. (Quick Bayman CB guide)

If you're going to go all the way for a CB, why drop your juggle for a force tech, which you can get without it? Besides that, the CB is incredibly telegraphed. Using it when you have no real reason to is going to get you held offline.

    Circling At Match Start

Depending on how quickly you do it there is a way to swap positions without resetting the camera, essentially resulting in a kind of psuedo-crossup with your opponents controls... which obviously would mess with someone at GRF. It can screw with people.

    Community Discussion for Tournament Rules

Well there is the jukebox, and there is an actual soundtrack replacer... as in, automatically assigning tracks to specific stages and menus... which is infinitely more convenient.

    Unholdable stun after tech rolling?

Basically what is happening here during this specific tech, a person is allowed to hold before they are allowed to block. However, holds require 1 frame of activation, contrary to the frame data and popular belief. So during that one frame, they become vulnerable to attack, assuming the hold was...
