A combination of boredom and too much DoA5...

Well when I do, i'm mostly playing my old ps2 and ps1 games lol.

For PS3, all I have are

Gundam Crossfire
Metal Gear Solid 4
FF13
Heavy Rain
Killzone 2 (Found that in a gutter, not kidding)
One Piece Pirate Warriors
Little Big Planet
Infamous
and....one more, I forget what it was.
you still play PS2 & PS? Now thats what I call hardcode gaming. These are my PS3 collection so far...

Uncharted 1
Uncharted 2
Uncharted 3
inFAMOUS 2
Batman Arkham City
Batman Arkham Asylum
Mortal Kombat 9
Mortal Kombat vs DC (this game stinks like horse poop)
UFC 2010
Saints Row the third
Saints Row 2
Tekken 6
Ninja Gaiden Sigma
God of War 3
And of course, Dead or Alive 5

I know Im off topic here but SilverKhaos force me to post this lol.

Well, you may or may not have noticed, but my ps3 games are all exclusives lol. if I want a multiplatform game, i'll get it on 360.

As for ps1, ps2, those games are just generally more fun. Most games now are shooters, or trying way too hard, too much emphasis on graphics.

Like, i'm playing PSN and PS2 classics, and beating most the ps2 games i never beat before, like xenosaga, dark cloud, etc.

Also, this is a "for boredom" topic, so long as its still related to DOA5, it should be fine.

And I have doa5 on 360. To match how I have DOAs 1-4 on xbox.

I'd list down my PS3 games, but my collection has grown severely gigantic within the span of 3 years I had this thing XD Let's just say I have fighting games left and right without a single FPS game in sight (and I intend on keeping it that way). I'm currently binging on Tenchu titles. I've recently beaten Tenchu 1 and 2. Cleared Rikimaru's story in Tenchu 3 and currently working on Ayame. After that, I'll be playing Tenchu: Fatal Shadows and I already know I'm gonna love it to bits. Once that's over with, then the time will come I revisit Legend of Legaia. So it just might be a while until DoA5 takes up the 24/7 schedule instead of just part time <.<

Been spending sleepless nights working on this monster:

And now that that's finally out of the way, I better get started on everyone's favorite DoA5 scene : P

Yes. A bright future of beautiful Noriyuki Asakura musical scores and night time decapitations using stealthy ninja tricks :U
I'd give anything to turn this into DoA5 online menu music. I'm looking at you, Team Ninja!!!! ヽ(`Д´)ノ︵┻━┻

Thanks XD It was a penciling style I decided to try out after thinking about some of the techniques my graphic design instructor introduced me to this semester. I'm glad it looked all right in my style XP

Blah. I wish I could draw good. Used to be able to, but i'm like 15 years out of practice. Trying to do an online come for the sake of motivating myself to practice drawing, but...motivation is still an issue lol.

That Kratos sketch is all sorts of awesome. If you've only just got back into drawing & have managed to execute a godly  pic like that then you should be getting the A4 paper & pacers out more often mate.

@Ghosty-J,

I can't say enough how good it is to see some Tenchu fans still around. I've always enjoyed the sneak-and-slashery brilliance of the Tenchu series. I've got both Wrath of Heaven & Fatal Shadows & although both games are uglier than bowling shoes they still play bloody damn well. Sneaking up on enemies & gutting them like fish just never grows old. Good, classic stuff which we don't see alot of anymore, unfortunately.

I guess you could say I'm somewhat new to Tenchu, although I got introduced to it from Tenchu 4: Shadow Assassins for the Wii a couple years ago. Decided about 2 months ago to get into the series from the very beginning and now I'm flat out in love with Tenchu XD I've never been very good at stealth games (I'm looking directly at you, Splinter Cells...), but Tenchu feels like it was made just for me. And so far, Wrath of Heaven seems to be my most preferred game since they ditched the tank controls and the combat system is fantastic. I'm dying to play Fatal Shadows as soon as I clear the game as Tesshu.

And I agree, we never really see games like these this day and age. Which is why I just don't like the gaming industry very much anymore. There's hardly any creativity put into these games and there's hardly anything original. Nowadays game developers have to create a hyper realistic shooter with zombies in vain of Call of Duty's mainstream success to make a significant financial profit. Consumers, 12 year old kids included, would eat this stuff up like candy, which makes it extremely difficult for amazing titles that isn't filled to the brim with guns, sex, violence, and more guns to sell very well in today's economy. If the day comes that fighting games, beat 'em ups, hack 'n slashes, indie titles, and platformers stop being made in favor of FPSs and yet another Madden/Live lineup of games, I see myself giving up video games all together :U

Went a bit off-topic there, but I had to let that out

Ghosty-J, have my babies... please. I fully agree with this. As much as I love fighters, platformers, beat 'em ups, action/adventure games from Japanese developers, today's gaming industry is all about FPSs, zombies, etc.

And why wouldn't they?

I mean come on, it's Carl-friggin-Winslow and his son Eddie fraggin' shit up. Sure, they got weak-ass weapons no thanks to Stefan Urquelle providing the weapons, but you gotta admit Laura tore shit up in the end like a boss.

And the Myra Munkhouse fanservice is priceless... I can't wait for the Urkelbot DLC expansion.

Uncharted is already a mainstream 'game'. In fact it's the flagship 'game' of the PS3 (for US/EU community).

When I say game, I'm really meaning interactive movie. To be honest, Uncharted (specially the last one) suffer from pretty much all the problems in modern gaming. After all it is just a cover-based third person shooter, with very little and casualized platforming sections a-la AssCreed, a few puzzles/riddles for brain-dead people, and 'hidden' treasures laying around in plain sight. So, in essence it's just a another shooter with a heavy emphasis in getting you into a "cinematic experience".

Anyway, just took advantege of the already gone offtopic thread to say this. Nothing that you already didn't know or feel, I'd like to think.

P.S. The only Tenchu games I played and liked were the first two on PS1. I liked the first more than the 2nd, in fact. Jak & Daxter was never good, in my humble but very debatable opinion. It was Sony trying to pull a franchise to compete with 3D Mario platformers. And we all know it didn't have a chance.

Uncharted 3 was pretty good but it was rather a disappointing experience compared to Uncharted 2 and it wasn't as polish :( Now if you want a game that disappoint the hype out of me lets talk about Def Jam Icon, stupid fucking game is a abomination:mad:

I haven't touched 3, but Uncharted 2 was pretty dang fun. But whatever the case, I'd prefer the Jak and Daxter trilogy over Uncharted any day. I'm a little biased there since it's an all time favorite growing up. I've beaten Jak 3, like, 5 times already XD Got the collection and Platinum'd the first game. Couldn't Platinum Jak II since getting all the precursor orbs from the mini games is too much of a pain, and Asura's Wrath threw me off track and distracted me from 3 <.< As for Def Jam Icon, kill it with fire. Fight for New York was the best : P
