either they're wearing the tightest thongs in history or there is NOTHING there.
i can't even describe JBA, but kid friendly is certainly not one of the adjectives i would use. not because of the asses so much as its super fucking violent and gorey. in the anime some nazi gets his leg chopped off then a pillar man breaks all the bones in his own body and hides in the nazis wounded leg like a fucking squid. also named characters die all the time like its game of thrones.
i cant even tell who this was made for. its presented like seinen, but filled with tons of male fanservice, but has shounenish plots.
It originated as a ripoff of Fist Of The North Star, so no surprise.
As for the poses, the artist was using European fashion magazines for inspiration/reference. You can actually find the original poses in the fashion magazines, even though they are now known as "JoJo poses". Part of the absurdity is these bodybuilders doing these feminine catwalk poses.
Jojo is just fabulous in the most masculine way. At least until halfway through part 4 when the artist changed his style so there's no more masculine men and everybody is an effeminate pretty boy.
What the fuck.
FYI the whole trick to the Pillar Men is that they have total control of their body structure so they can move like they don't have bones. One dies then his brain and eyes pop out of his skull and continue acting as a little monster without yhr original body. Another has a giant retractable unicorn horn and can wiggle around like a jellyfish. Another has a retractable organic chainsaw that comes out of his arms.
I gotta be honest, I'm not really a fan of outfits like the one Rebecca has because I feel that it's a bit overdone, same with Jill's in RE1. Don't get it wrong I do like Tactical outfits at times but mainly when it's something like RE2 Leon's, Jill's in RE1 somehow looks fake.
JJBA is very unapologetic in that regard and somehow, it comes off as very badass rather than completely ridiculous. Again, I think it's mainly how the author is completely shameless and most people see men doing this as out there compared to females in which it defaults to sexy no matter what.
You thought Vanille was 14/15? I mean damn lol.
Overdone? Its a uniform lol. I get how odd jill's is but Rebecca's looks normal.
But yes the real awesome thing is that despite the absurd girly fashion poses and outfits, JoJo remains hyper masculine and absolutely badass. Its like seeing a big mean biker in a mlp shirt and still being intimidated by him.
But Vanille does come across as about 15, yes. Which makes the lesbian tones with Fang, who looks mid to late 20's, a little awkward.
