Man if that's all people have noticed this is shaping up to be a very minor update. I remember when 5U was first being demoed there tons of changes immediately apparent

TBF, they tried to squeeze everything into Ultimate (and they're still gonna toss in some more DLC, I betcha)! Ultimate and LR are nothing but DLC discs anyway!! (Allthewhile, you get rants about locked DLC on disc) Someone tell me I'm wrong!

They had so much shit in Ultimate, but all that was was "Take Combo-Challenge," etc. from Vita! We don't wanna upset console users! (Ironically, PS3/360 user miss out on what is superficial anyway) Again, this being the second update (and they're just trying to push everybody to next gen) ...

DOA = DLC! Was there this much milking with previous entries? WTF?

Btw, don't read the "Hairstyle" thread!

With DOA2 there was. I cannot be asked to type it up, but there were about 4-5 versions of it.
DOA3 was packed.
DOA4, lacked in male costumes, but had loads of stages. Balance of 4.0 was shit. 4.1 was fixed.
DOA5 has DOA5V, DOA5+ (Which I personally don't count as a new iteration), DOA5U, and now DOA5:LR - which is just TN adding a DOA on next gen systems. Think of DOA5:LR as DOA5 Definitive Edition + Extras.

Like Tomb Raider's Survival Edition that got released on Xbox One/PS4 had nothing new, apart from a graphics update.

DOA5: DE! If you know the YT channel: RTU: ReviewTechUsa - in his rant regarding TR9 - he called it "Fraud Edition." In it, he makes the same argument! "All they did was slap more paint on it!" And some tend to believe I'm overreacting after seeing Alpha's "costume," but everyone does so regarding her BURST throw!

But damn! I guess, they'll milk DOA8 if they go that far!! Good things come in three's, I guess! - 2, 5, 8, 11, etc. *SMDH*

I'm sorry but under no circumstance does rachel need her heel that fast. Rachel is an extremely solid character who can sneeze and do big damage. I simply said a really good buff for rachel would to buff her heel by 1 frame so that way people can't option select her heel or 66T.

That was clearly not a one frame speed buff

I dunno... I count 10-12 Frames from Rachel's first twitch till the heel lands in that 30fps (well 29.97) video... so it's either a really minor buff, or nothing changed at all.

If true, it wouldn't really affect anything gameplay-wise. She can already toss it out on reaction after the opponent initiates a WU K and beat out the kick using it with plenty of time to spare. You already have to back tech immediately to avoid it so as long as that function remains in-place, a slight animation change would not affect much of anything in a gameplay sense.

With the graphical update in TR being a huge deal actually. I can't even tell the difference with these supposed "updates" TN has made for LR w/ the soft engine and the improvement in graphics.

I don't know if I should post this here, but can someone confirm whether these Kokoro strings in this video I've just posted are new or old?

http://www.freestepdodge.com/media/dead-or-alive-5-last-round-ps4-extrait-gameplay-combat-féminin.7363/

One string happens at 1.02 and 1.11 (delayed version?), the other string at 1.51.

Apologies if these are currently existing strings. I'm not too familiar with Kokoro, but I don't think I've ever seen them before?
ya those are old

Make Bayman's Tank Rolls better. More invincibility on side rolls, more distance covered (especially his back roll, he should get enough space to avoid rolling forward wakeup kicks), crush mids like everybody else's, anything to make it so that I'm not punished for making good reads.

I probably won't find out about any Ein buffs or nerfs (lol) until LR drops. Only footage of him was his ass getting kicked in Crimson I believe.
