Well, tourney tomorrow, so I'll try Bass first and switch to Leon if it turns to shit.

Meh, I don't give a shit. They didn't have Leon unlocked and I sticked with Bass till finals and won a round with Bayman till I lost to a busa who actually played the game.
Overall, great performance on my end. This game on the other hand can go fuck itself.

I take it the Busa player won the tournament. Yeah if you got to the finals with Bass then it was a great perfrmance on your end.
For having played the game for less than three hours, I did great.
And yes, the Busa player won because he messed around on Dimensions before he came to the tournament.
edit: I was going to start a Bass appreciation thread, but then I realized that you don't need that for the best character in the game.

Hey, what do you guys think/know about Spartan (Nicole)-458? I've been messing around with the cast to keep things fresh for me and she really caught my interest. I know she's a hybrid of Leon and Bayman but what is her strategy? what does she revolve around?

In general, she's a super heavy who is tough to juggle, decent strings, a
throw that punishes wake-up kicks and is guaranteed damage if opponent is back-to-wall that links to force-tech game, has a devastating 12i plasma throw that works on front and back facing opponents. She's considered S-class at best and A-class at worst. I think her only negative is the lack of a solid true mid attack with not many crushes.In other words, pain.

Personally with doa5 around the corner I wouldn't bother messing with spartan as she's definitely not going to be in doa5. I'd love to see her fighting style be incorporated into a new character though as I loved playing spartan, but for some reason I don't see that happening.

I suggest getting a 3DS if you got cash to spare, especially if you're thinking of getting into Tekken Tag2 since Tekken Hybrid has all the Tag2 movesets.

I would if I had a job, but that's a different topic; and Tekken lost my interest ever since 6 came out (and I played 6). I'm more a Virtua Fighter guy lol.
