The spiritual successor to blighttown in DS2 is a joke. Hell, you can run through the gulch in a minute.
I'm talking about the Gutter. And sure you can once you know the way, but the first time through, having to move so slowly all the time with every direction looking exactly the same... eugh. Not a fan.

Maybe it was due to my previous DS experiences why I had such an easy time with the gutter. Blighttown was much worse, IMO. First time I went through it, it was without the Master Key. That was quite the experience...

Just got King's Ring. Wasn't exactly expecting Vendrick to be so... aimless. But his chamber looks cool, haha. Anyway, it's 4:30AM so I'm heading off to bed now. Will fuck around with the King's Ring tomorrow.

Blighttown was really not as bad as everyone thinks. People get scared by the poison that does like, no damage at all. You can even rush through the entire place to the bonfire in 2 minutes.

...and if it's your first time going through the game?

Question to everyone that's helping me with Dark Souls. Where in the fuck is the bonfire in blighttown?

It's kind of tough to explain considering I do not know where you are coming from and how you are orientated.

I'll try regardless:
The bonfire is at the bottom of Blighttown, right across from the well-lit hill with a line of those boulder ogres, inside of an opening in the wall, near the Mill. Just hug the wall.

...unless you are talking about the one at the beginning of Blighttown, on the ledge. Where are you right now?

Eh... did you already find one in Blighttown? Or none at all?
i found one, all the way at the bottom, i had to go through the sludge. Is there another bonfire?

I think thats the one i just found, all the way at the bottom, i had to go through the toxic sludge. Not sure if thats the only one, or if theres another?

That's all you really need.

Go around the right side to avoid those ogres onto that hill. You will experience one of my favorite fights >:)
