yeah they're ridiculous. I just struck with a poison weapon, then retreated into that hole area where they can't each you. let the poison run its course, then ran back out there, poisoned em real quick again, ran back, etc. pain in the butt

but yeah in amana I wound up just rolling through the missiles rather than blocking them. additionally, there's that one spot that's just ludicrous to beat conventionally, so hug the left wall and make your way to the cave, then come back out from the cave and start slicing. you'll get 'em from behind, and you're closer to a wall cover if you need to retreat.

From my experiences so far it seems the bosses are way easier this time around while the actual mob encounters usually are a notch harder than in the first one, along with some areas like the Shrine of Amana. Or maybe I just suck, which is entirely possible.

Where is my 3.0 weight shield with good reduction and hella good stamina regen?

Please don't tell me you got nerfed or deleted. I want to find you, my brother. ;(

I'm not very far into the Shrine I don't think but despite some thoughts on it, playing a Sorcerer is not easy mode lol. Playing a Faith build is. Not Intelligence. I'm not chucking a couple lightning spears at enemies for an instant win button.

Smart observation.

I can imagine I would still do better with 60 FPS even with a smaller invincibility frame window. Human reaction is also a factor, and twice as many frames helps with that quite a bit.

Wasn't accusing you of doing so. But any ranged combat capabilities help immensely in Amana.

The 60fps does make a huge difference after playing through the entirety of Dark Souls on 360. Once I had enough points in the right places to boost my agility, that is. It was seemingly much harder until that was jacked WAY up. That link was quite an interesting read. Seems melee builds actually have it tougher on decent PCs. I keep a Fire Longsword in reserve but primarily run my staff and switch to pyromancy once in a while.

Remains to be seen for me. I might have to go back and figure out other places to use the key I got from killing the two giants. That and the Fang Key, which I still don't know where to use. I got my current staff from the door at the bottom of the well but I hear the Havel's set is really good armor for mages and needs the same key. Just unsure of where it is.

I believe you already used it, lol
You said you already freed Ornifex? That's what the key is for.

Havel's set is really good armor for anyone because it's OP as fuck. But unless you have around 70 Vitality, there's no way in hell you're gonna be able to wear it. Unless you sacrifice pieces, like the shield.
It's location is:
Near the top of The Gutter inside a cave. You need the Forgotten key, which if you killed both giants, you already have.

Yeah I freed the blacksmith so that's that. Wondered what I got that for. As for the armor...I don't know where that door would be. I found one near where the giants are and another where I got the Witchtree Branch. Don't recall any caves near where you mentioned.

Okay, so from the bonfire, head across the minibridge and fall down the roof with a hole in it like you normally would. Then, go to your left and you'll see a platform off in the distance where a hollow is holding a torch. Jump over there, and then keep running straight towards the cave wall itself. You'll find a ladder there leading up to a raised platform where there's a small cave with a large door and several poison dart statues. Open up the door and you'll find a chest with about 900,000 more statues. Inside is Havel's set.

Shouldn't e too hard to navigate if you used torches to light all the beacons in the Gutter. Otherwise, it may be hard for you so see where you're going.

edit: this video is really short and shows exactly where to find it, if you don't want to wander about yourself

Nah it's all lit. I got all of the achievements in Wolfenstein early this morning so I might do this later tonight or tomorrow before I go get Watch Dogs.

Also, I have about....10 Vitality haha. Might do some mixing and matching because my gauntlets I'm using seem better than Havel's. Also uses Twinkling Titanite but I forget the name.

Slightly off-topic, but let me know what you think of Watch Dogs. I'm curious about it, but on a tight budget.

Wolfensten is amazing. People should really be asking me about that and then giving them their money for it. But I'll let you know how Watch Dogs is. I'm expecting a fun and more responsive (controls-wise) version of GTA with hacking and really random side quest type things to do. I think I'll be satisfied with it because I'm not expecting a mind-blowing experience.
