Oh dear lord. The fucking dragon shrine. I don't think they'll let you and I co-op because my level is quite a bit higher than that, but I can try it. (if we can't, I'll just give you some advice... but it's easier to demonstrate than describe)
here ill hop on
@RyuxSama
Okay, so here's the deal. THIS PLACE IS SHIT AS BALLS if you're melee-only. So, you're going to have to be a bit creative. First, if you can, get a large weapon with 50 poise damage. I personally used the Black Knight Ultra Greatsword. Now, the first Drakekeeper you encounter will be a sword+shield one. If you have a 100 damage reduction shield, simply keep blocking and strafe to your left/his right. You'll notice his attack patterns leave him exposed after about two swings (3 depending on your placement). Be patient and whittle him down. WATCH OUT for the projectile spamming douche up top. We'll get to him next.
Now, go up the stairs and you'll see that motherfucker mace knight. Don't engage him right now. Instead, run immediately to your left into the columns and up the stairs. You'll see another sword+shield knight. Skip him too and run along the beam until you reach the Douche Bishop. Cut his his bitch ass up (no problem when you're in close quarters), then backtrack to the sword+shield knight and kill him like you did the first one. Okay, now here's where things get interesting. Equip the Silvercat Ring and fall off the ledge that connected the area with the second sword knight and the douche bishop. You'll fall at the base of the stairs with the Mace Drakekeeper's back to you. Now, quietly sneak up behind him and MASH THE FUCK OUT HIM! MASH UNTIL ALL OF YOUR STAMINA IS GONE. He may be dead or may have some HP left depending on your stats, weapon, upgrades, ring etc. If he's still alive, dash for the columns, head back up the stairs and repeat the process.
Now continue up the stairs and you'll see a sword+shield drakekeeper AND a motherfucker mace drakekeeper (there's another path you can get to by falling off the ledge and running into a MIMIC chest but I'll let you figure that part out on your own, as it's not needed to progress). Now, walk up the stairs carefully, and you can actually aggro the sword knight without alerting the motherfucker mace knight. Alone, he's no problem. If you aggro the other knight on accident, simply run down the stairs and try to separate them or try again. Once the sword knight is dead, there's two ways to proceed:
1) Pull the motherfucker mace knight to the stairs and abuse his retreat point to score in hits as he tries to back away. The collision of the staircase will make hitboxes all wonky, and it will be harder for him to hit you and vice versa.
2) You CAN actually fight the mother fucker mace knight like the sword knights, though there's an extra step. If you keep blocking his attacks, he won't stop, he will, however, do a longer attack that he charges up after a while. You can't intercept this and if you block it he'll loop his mashy attack cycle. But, if you dodge it (ie: roll and make him whiff), he'll just sit there for a minute with abnormally high recovery frames. Now, what do? You guessed it: MASH THE FUCK OUT OF HIM!
Okay, so after this you can move up the stairs, and now you'll get two-handers knights. Two of them. Don't run too far up the steps as you'll aggro the golden guards as well. Instead, run up a bit, aggro these new drakekeepers, and then head back down the stairs. If you keep them around their retreat zone, one will continue to attack you while the other sorta hangs back to enjoy the show. Now, be careful because unlike the other drakekeepers, a 100% shield will NOT block all of their attacks. They have some strong swings and a deadly jab that will blow right through your guard. In general, though, they are fought like the sword+shield ones from before. Circle-strafe to your left, wait until the hitboxes cause them to whiff, get some shots in (but manage your stamina) and repeat. Once one is down, pull the other and do the same thing.
Now, proceed up the stairs and you'll run into the golden guards. Not much to be said here as they're not too hard. But, it should be noted that you can aggro them and pull them one at a time. In general, it's easier to pull the ones standing to your right, so approach from the rightmost side, move slowly, and wait for them to come for you. Simply roll when they attack and mash with your greatsword. They have a lot of lives, but they're not too threatening when fought one at a time. It helps to fight them on even ground rather than on the stairs, so I recommend pulling them back to the level surface.
Now, once up the final flight of stairs, you'll notice the ultimate sin: two mother-fucking asshole mace+shield drakeepers accompanied by two golden guards. So, run up and aggro all four of these mother-fuckers. Once they're all on your ass, retreat back down the stairs onto the level surface (or a bit further if needed). The golden guards will follow you but the drakekeepers will NOT. Wipe out the golden guards and head back up. Now, you have two options:
1) The drakekeepers can be separated similar to how the mace / sword+shield duo could before, but it's a bit tricky and sometimes it won't work. I would recommend trying it until you get them separate as fighting them together is fucking ridiculous (first-hand experience). One-on-one, they're fought like a mixture of the mace and sword+shield ones. It's hard to describe, but you have to break their block chain in order to get them exposed and get some hits in. They are not easily stun-locked like the others, though, so don't get greedy and monitor your endurance carefully. Once these two are dead, it's a straight shot to the Ancient Dragon.
2) Say "Fuck it!" Throw your hands in the air and run past these bitch-ass dickheads and run straight to the Dragon behind them. They will not follow you.
