Dead or Alive 5 Team Battle mode for DLC: Yes or no?

I'm sure at this point we all know that Team Battle was not available for Dead or Alive 5.
For those who actually play this mode often in the past have probably been disappointed about the mode not being in the game.
So, who wants the mode back for DLC?

Oh you mean team battle offline or online?

Offline i'd be ok with it but online it was never really a success and it could get pretty laggy with 4 people on each team.

Dont care for it that much, but would be nice if they had it. What i would really want is co op online tag team.

I really miss Team Battle to be honest. This summer, I was thinking about how fun it will be to play with my team. I was really excited.
In September, when I discovered there was no Team Ninja, I was very disappointed.

I feel like they should have taken their time (2-3 extra months would have been okay I guess to add a few things, among an opening, Team Battle, fix some glitches, finish some story chapters, etc.)

When we'll finally have Leon as a DLC, I will support this petition!

Should have been in the game. Taking out that mode never made sense to me. I played the hell out of it local with friends.

I think they should add it. I mean think about this way if you hate team battle or never liked it. You don't have to download it or play it. So why not just add it on. It shouldn't hurt anybody plus I think it will be fun if they have like team battles for side thing in a tournament or something .... Basically what I'm saying is its a fun mode I liked it and if they add it. It wont really hurt anybody who doesn't like it they just simple don't have to play it. Just my opinion sorry I offend anyone.

A lot of good things Team Ninja missed on this mode in the past, i could have used the extra challenge.

No thanks, Team Ninja's efforts and time should be used to fix more important things. Never really cared, but if they were to make it DLC (which they won't), this would be the last of them.

They had that option in DOA2 (and I think DOA3) but they changed it in DOA4 so that you had to have the same number of team members.

I actually like Team Battle but I never really played it with anyone. I think it would be a fun mode to have. I think it would be cool if they had an online version but there would probably be too much lag.

DOA4 had this mode available for online, as well as survival mode.
It was rare to find a lobby playing these two modes because everyone just kept playing Kumite instead lol

I really enjoyed Team Battle because :
- back in DOA2-4, we didn't have that random filter, so it was nice to play with a variety of characters (5 in DOA2, 7 in DOA4) without having to use random/versus/whatever.
- it was a great way to show your friends you could "master" more than just one character
- it was FUN and creating your own team was cool, you could create stories (Lei Fang + Kasumi + Tina = Totally Spies... i know, sometimes I'm a bit childish...)

I'm kind of in the middle on this one because Survival,CPU vs and Tag Mode is what's keeps me replaying the game the most. I just don't understand why they decide to remove things whether it's characters, modes or even some stages from DOA 4 any ways SMH

Good point about pre-random filter usefulness. I don't think the game will let you run multiple profiles at the same time, so it would still have that use for offline play. Support that, but never really cared for the mode myself, so there's a ton of stuff I'd like to see fixed before I personally would consider this worthwhile.
I'll say yes, 'cause I like people being able to get stuff they want <that doesn't hurt anyone else>, but I wouldn't likely get it myself.
<edit> Actually, I have to say "no" because I don't "wish" for it.

I'd like it. It's a nice handicap to fight less or more skilled friends equally. (3 characters vs 5 characters for example)

TAG Team Battle DLC or Patch Fixing it will be a lot better and it is like 50 times better than this "battle team". 2 vs 2 is great fun in TAG, team battle it is not.

I remember having good memories back when I was playing team battle on DOA3 but now since its we have a new DOA game, it feels weird without it. so yeah, I wouldn't mind to play it again.

I loved picking 8 randoms and seeing what the hell jumped into the ring each time.

Honestly the only time I found TB mode useful were in the past games before team ninja got smart and allowed you to face the A.I in versus mode. Now I think its useless on and offline. So I'd say no. It would be a waste of time and effort. I would prefer they fix the netcode and buff some of the characters(if its proven necessary in the future).
