I think Ein would be better placed under Hayate and Ayane. I don't see why he and Jacky have to be next to each other just because they're both new characters.

Also I love how people apparently think we're going to have 2 random slots now. There's honestly enough space for 5 more characters. The 2 question marks which we know are Leon and most likely Rachel, the 2 empty spots on each respective end of the char select screen, and one of the 2 random slots, one of which is most likely just a placeholder.

If they're gonna add more slots after e3, why bother including the first two question mark ones?

I wonder if TN are still opposed to the idea of DLC characters, seeing as they are essentially, err... selling characters.

You are making the mistake of assuming all of the space on the screen will be filled, a mistake made all too much by people when DOA5 was coming. There is only 1 character yet to be announced besides Leon, and its also exemplified by the list of characters on the site info with 2 '???'. Its a female based on the number of bathing suits (proven reliable before)

They are now since if you pay for all characters individually, you essentially pay more and that money goes in their pockets...

I can't believe there will be only 2 characters left to promote the game until September, especially with E3 being so close. What will they promote during July/August ? Costumes ? Stages ?
I'm not being too optimistic about this, though, like last time, with Leon's presence in DOA5.

Orrr they could be simply putting that cause they haven't been revealed yet. :/

My guess for the last 2 characters that are going to be added to the game (if it would be only 2, who knows) would be:

Leon
+
Tengu(most likely option)/VF character/Rachel(not likely, sadly)

I don't know whether to be happy or sad that DOA5U isn't compatible to play with DOA5 vanilla.

Then again, TN isn't going to fork out another $40,000 for another patch. And presumably more patches after 5U is released, and also maybe a day-one patch as well.

I'll be getting the retail version anyways, but kudos to TN.
