I know im almost certain that we ll have 24 characters and pai is the last one i was only kidding anyway i dont like speculations, someone always gets dissapointed in the end we ll just have to see how many more and witch we cant do anything about it anyway either they re 20 or 40...
Or non-playable characters like a boss perhaps.

I had a dream DOA5 would have a gameplay mode where you could wander around a huge forest and hunt down your opponents in a full 3d environment. If only dreams of DOA could be true..

Yeah, that person is no longer available to us, and all my artist friends who are skilled enough aren't interested in imitating the style for the rest of the cast. I like them more than the old "DOATEC" heads used on every other DOA website, so that's why I keep them. If anyone can rip the style for the missing characters and send them to me, I'll upload them after approval.
