I know in four he had a throw that was 236HP and if you were by a wall he would smash the shit out of them. Ahh...good times. I always would say," Get...on..the ground!" It was a catch throw btw. I would say it if I landed a catch throw.

In DOA4, it is not technically correct to call them Catch Throws. DOA1, DOA4, DOAD, and DOA5 use the term Offensive Hold. DOA2 and DOA3 use the term Catch Throws. Sort of the same thing but slight difference in the damage revisions.

Do you even READ what he types? He's asking for IMPROVEMENTS to a character and all you can say is "hater." ? Why do you even participate in these conversations? How about we say nothing and you can be stuck with a character with terrible tool sets that are all telegraphed and easy to stop?

Also noticed that Bass' back-turned H+P's animation is messed up. He turns to his left while reaching with his left hand. Then once connecting it shows him turned to his right and grabbing with his right hand. Must have the animations flipped.

Jann Lee's dragon gunner did the same thing. His back was facing the screen then he did the dragon gunner and it flipped is stance mid animation lol.

Blaze, I can assure you DrDogg's intention here isn't to hate, only educate. As hard as it is to swallow in cases like this, it's better to appreciate the knowledge of a character's weaknesses and self-motivate by focusing on optimizing the character's strengths, regardless of how many or how little they have.

As a player that's also using a low-tier character (much less one that was generally slept on in DOA4), I'm looking at this in a positive way rather than hate. Don't get discouraged, just keep an open mind until you get some lab time with Zack.

Does DrDogg even play in tournaments?

Is he even a top player?
No, he isn't. But I'm sure they would vouch for his efforts anyway, seeing as he's currently one of the few who had the most tangible experience with the latest builds.

However, that's not the point. The time and devotion DrDogg is taking to try to break down the game frame-by-frame for us to even discuss it so things can be improved on should be appreciated nonetheless. That's all there is to what he's doing, nothing more.

I disagree, I say he is a top player. I think there are about 25-35 or so players that should be considered top players. Unless we're limiting top players to 4-5. Then I guess the 25-35 would be considered high level players. And yes, when it comes to DOA4, I also consider you a HLP Awesmic.

I also think he's one of the few players who actually takes the time to break the game apart and learn everything about it. There are others who do the same that I think are very knowledgeable about the game, but not high level players, although some of these people know more of the frame data and how to play the game better than a lot of HLP's.
